Trip to Science Centre's Omni Theatre!

Mingster and I went to Science Centre and also watched an IMAX movie at the Omni theatre! It was so much fun! We wanted to watch "The Alps" initially but due to the time constraint we watched "Sea Monsters" instead, but still I simply love watching movies in the Omni theatre, so it doesn't really matter. Will update again after I upload the photos to my com!
After that, we went to IMM to settle our dinner at Pepper Lunch and I got to eat my meat! Haha, I simply love beef! Anyway I think IMM has changed so much since the last time I was there, I think there's like a new extension to the mall and it looks so much modern now compared to last time.
Anyway, did you switch off your lights yesterday night? Hope you did. Since we were out, so we didn't get to switch off watever lights but we experienced Earth Hour out on the streets! We are glad that restaurants like Fish & Co., McDonald's, and Long John Silver's made an effort in switching off unnecessary lights, Yeah!! But other eateries such as Mos Burger, Ajisen (seems like Japanese and local companies don't give a fuck over such things), etc and so many more were ignoring this campaign.
Ok! Out for dinner!

Let's Support Earth Hour!

Hi peeps! A gentle reminder to all my friends and anyone out there reading this blog, this Saturday, 28 March 2009, kindly switch off all lights from 8.30pm- 9.30pm to support the Earth Hour! Let's play our parts and make a difference together and be kind to our planetary home for at least an hour to show that we do care and love for the world we are living in. Cheers!
Back to me. I have been thinking of picking some foreign languages recently and I think I am kinda interested in French! Haha, I find it such a beautiful language and from some French movies that I've watched, France seems to be a stunning place. Ahh.. let's hope I am able to find some cheap deal packages that provide French classes, hoho.
Other than this, I am also planning to learn ....... well, I shall not disclose it yet, haha. Wait till I really put in the effort to start making all the necessary arrangements before letting I reveal it to you guys, wahaha!

Sunday.

Just finished watching my 4 hours non-stop Hong Kong drama, it's those typical love story but still got addicted to it, haha. My munchy for the day is a white choc with macadamia nuts cake from Secret Recipe that mingster bought for me. *ching*

Dug out some old pics. It's the curry fishballs that I bought from HK's 7-Eleven! Bought two bowls back to Singapore. I miss HK food!!!

*Drum rolls*

My new friend!

We call him "Sai Boi" aka shit boy! Haha, he's so damn cute la and he totally represents me as I believe all my friends should know that I love shit! Wahaha, shit/poop was always part of my lecture notes, it's just all over them. And one of my favourite phrase is," Go eat shit!" Haha.

BluJaz + Zouk

Went to BluJaz to support mingster last night and his set was good! But I guess not all of my friends know how to appreciate minimal and tech house, haha. But still I like it! I feel that mingster's stuffs sounded much better than the other forms of house music I heard. Well, just my taste and opinion...
Here are a few pics taken at BluJaz: (will upload pics taken from Zouk soon)

Later on in the night, we headed down to Zouk and it was fun staying at Winebar having a camwhore session, haha. And it was rare for me to stay in Phuture until 4am! I have to mention here that I started off liking R&B music when I was young but as I get older, I find that those "grinding" moves are getting too out my league, haha! I still prefer the music policy of Zouk main room, kudos!

Stayed at Zouk till 5am plus and by the time I reached home plus all the washing up etc, its already almost 7am! So, I slept like a log until 230pm and I felt that my off day is so wasted cause almost half of the day was gone!! And the worst part is I fell asleep just now at 7pm! Haha, woke up at 10pm which was not too long ago! So, to simplify my day, I did nothing but just eat and sleep like a freaking pig, haha.

Ming Knackle at BluJaz Tomorrow!

Yoz people! Mingster will be spinning at BluJaz tomorrow which is a Friday at 10pm, so come down if you guys are free ya! It's located at Bali Lane which is just next to Haji Lane.
Okay, back to me. Im super freaking tired, this week is a long long week, I need my two weekends off!! Yesterday was a super long day, had meeting at 9am and all the way until 8pm. And as usual, I will fell asleep on the sofa unknowingly and in the middle of the night I will wake up to bathe and wash up. I know I am a dirty ass. But I am really super tired and my face has rotted all due to my laziness of not removing my make up before I sleep!! Argh!
Something that makes me happy recently:
Subway has opened an outlet at Northpoint! Hooray!

Mingster posing with a huge Playmobil police man, haha. Note they had similar colour outfits!

My Fingercroxx x Ricky Powell tee that I bought in Hong Kong previously, nicey.

It's bathing time.

Fishball Family loves G-shock!

Introducing our new G-shock member! A navy blue Mudman that we bought a few days back! It's a cheap deal by the way, hoho.

Here's my Mudman family.
(From left: Special edition Multi-band 5 Mudman, new-kid-on-the-block navy blue Mudman, special edition Toyota Racing Team x Casio G-shock Mudman, army green Mudman.)

These two DW-6900s shown below are the ones we bought in Hong Kong. They are not cheap man, especially the blue one which is a limited edition, crossover collaboration between LRG (Lifted Research Group) and G-shock. But both colours are so damn nice! Totally love it!

These are my DW-6900s. =)
(From left: Precious Hearts Collection black dial, Precious Hearts Collection white dial, commemorative yellow DW-6900 re-issue, limited edition LRG x Casio G-shock DW-6900, black/neon green DW-6900, liver red DW-6900.)

My box where my G-shock family resides in! If you're interested in the box, it's from Ikea. This is only part of our G-shock collection though, there are some others which you can see in the box which I have not officially done any writeups about, like mingster's Frogmans, and my DW-5600s. Anyways, I want to have a proper showcase next time for my G-shocks and also mingster's Nike shoe collection.

I wish. I wish. I wish...

Recap of Mingster's Birthday.

Okay, finally got the mood to write about mingster's birthday celebration. Basically I took a half day leave intending to go cycle with him at east coast park and have our dinner there. But everything on that day was out of the plan! Because of the bloody rain, we were not able to cycle and worst still the restaurant (it's Mingles!) that I wanted to bring him to eat is closed down! How "lucky" can it be, shitasses.

Mingster came to my workplace at Kallang to meet me.

The underpass that is link to East Coast Park.

This underpass gives me a creepy feeling, hoho.

Haiz, rainy weather. Due to the weather, we were not able to cycle and we gotta walk for about 30mins to reach Playground@ Big Splash! So bloody long!!

So, we took lots of photos on our way walking there. Haha.

Ya right, this is Mingles and why is it not opened?!?!?! #!%$&*@@!!

Due to not much selection in that area, mingster chose Carl's Junior and not Sushi Tei?! I guess he didnt want me to spend so much on the meal. Stupid boy, haha.

Beef cheese fries!

Posing with the super huge onion ring.

This is not camera angle, the burger is really damn huge! It's just right beside my face and it's the same size as my face!

Stupid mingster went to try one of these hot chilli pepper and he totally regretted it! Haha, he had to drink half of his peppermint smoothie to overcome the hotness!

Our bill. For a fastfood, $30 is quite expensive right?

We took part in a lucky draw and also wrote a feedback form, haha. We were too free as we were not able to cycle!! I want to cycle~

Nice view.

Stupid pose of me that looked like a thief.

Ming's Hut! Haha, it's actually a portion of a standee outside one of a restaurant.

Later in the night, we went to Parkway Parade. Ok, I have to say that I am never a east person, places like Siglap, Marine Parade, Joo Chiat, Katong sounds very alien to me, haha I am so loser lo. But it's really so inaccessible for people like me that lives in Yishun!

I love yoghurt! The topping is pomegranate, one of mingster's favourtie fruit juice choice.

Back home.

Mingster was so tired that he dozed off on the sofa and I got to wake him up at 12am to cut his cake, haha. Oh ya, anyway the celebration was one day before his actual birthday.

A mini birthday card that I have made.

Present present! The black wrapper is so cool!

Ta dah! Sennheiser HD25-13 II headphone! It's not an ordinary headphone that you can find at shops like HMV or some electrical shops k, I got to go all the way to Farrer Park to buy it and it costs quite a bomb. Haha, I shall not say the actual price.

Mingster, let's go cycle soon!
